This is a screencast to illustrate my recommendations for a good cross-fade feature for the powerful open source audio editing tool "Audacity", available for free download for Microsoft Windows operating systems at http://audacity.sourceforge.net/.
The feature is currently discussed at the AudacityTeam.org Wiki on this page and the corresponding Wiki "Talk Page" as well.
My screencast that illustrates my suggestion about how a good and user-friendly cross-fade feature should look like is very short, less than 2 1/2 minutes, but pictures say more as 1,000 words and video says more than hundreds of images :).
Cheers!
